This page explains what this website stores on your device and which other servers your browser contacts. It follows Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC and Article 225 of the Slovenian Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-2).
This website sets no cookies. It does not use local storage, session storage or similar technologies, and it has no analytics, advertising or social media trackers. The only cookie we found comes from the map tile service on the map page: a technical session cookie on MapTiler's own domain, explained below. That is why there is no cookie banner.
What we checked
We checked all pages (home page, wind farm map and legal pages) in a browser on 15 October 2026. No cookies were set, and nothing was written to local or session storage. The website code (including the Leaflet map library) does not read or write cookies.

The site-check form is sent with a direct request to our form service, Formspree (formspree.io), only when you press the send button. This sets no cookies on this website. If JavaScript is switched off, your browser opens a confirmation page on formspree.io instead, which is subject to Formspree's own privacy policy.
We re-checked this on 16 October 2026 with the final setup: the form uses no captcha, and GitHub Pages, which hosts the website, sets no cookies. If we add a service that needs a cookie, we will list it here first.
Third parties your browser contacts
Some content loads from other servers. They do not set cookies on this website, but they receive your IP address and basic browser data, as any web server does. One of them, MapTiler, sets a technical cookie on its own domain (see the table).

Links to other websites, such as LinkedIn, only contact those websites when you click them.
The fonts (Montserrat and Inter) are hosted on our own server, so loading a page sends no data to a font provider such as Google.
If we add analytics later
If we add analytics or any other non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will update this page and ask for your consent first with a cookie banner, unless the tool is set up so that consent is not required by law (for example some cookieless, EU-hosted analytics). The banner will have equal "Accept" and "Reject" buttons, and you will be able to change your choice at any time through a "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
